To steal a quote from Chris Brogan who said,
“I’m reaching out to shake your hand and you’re trying to put your tongue in my mouth.”
It’s just plain wrong. Yes, your “coach” told you to start doing it, but they probably meant to say “start doing it right”.
It’s also wrong legally. Just because you have someone’s email address doesn’t mean you can send them unsolicited bulk email.
